The Friendsville branch is a full service library with WiFi access, four internet access computers for the public and a wide range of books, audio books, and DVDs (over 400). The special collections include local and genealogical information, teen, large print, inspirational fiction and new fiction and non-fiction. Since 2003, the Friendsville Library Quilters have raised funds for the purchase of many DVDs, books and some equipment.
Spring Reading Club for children- Make a Splash- READ! runs April 1 through May 31. If a child reads at least 10 books they will receive a free book at the Friendsville Branch. Forms are available at the checkout desk.
Summer Treasure Hunt for children begins June 1 and runs through August 14. Any child who finds the treassure for the week will receive a prize. One per child per week. There are special prizes during June.
