StoryTails: Children Reading to Dogs  11:00 AM  Children Services

Therapy Dog Mollie will be here along with her owner Amanda Fischetti for StoryTails: Children Reading to Dogs on Saturday, February 15, at 11 a.m. This program is designed to help children develop confidence in reading. Each child reads to a dog for 15 – 20 minutes, with the dog’s handler sitting nearby to give reading assistance if necessary. All dogs are certified by Therapy Dogs International.

Join us for a series of free gardening classes at the Grantsville Library, presented by the Garrett County Master Gardeners from the University of Maryland Extension Office. All classes are free and open to the public. February 18 is the first class and the topic is Planning Your Garden. Attendance at the entire series is not required.
