Story Tails  3:30 PM - 4:30 PM  Children Services
Branch: Accident Accident Library
This month we will have MacKenzie here with us for StoryTails: Children Reading to Dogs. This drop-in program is designed to help children develop confidence in reading.  Each child reads to a dog for about 15 minutes with the dog's handler sitting nearby to give reading assistance if necessary.  All dogs are certified by Therapy Dogs International. At the end of the reading session, each child will receive a bookmark with a picture of the dog that they read to.  This program provides a great opportunity for kids who need to work on reading skills and would like the opportunity to read to an animal.

Your Participation in programs signifies you permission for us to use any photos that we take of you. Please speak to a librarian at the event if you would prefer that your photo not be taken.
