We are beginning 2016 with One-on-One “How-to” sessions for patrons seeking help with downloading and/or using the library’s digital resources. If you’d like to save money this year on downloads, check out our free access to online magazines, eBooks, and audiobooks – all available from our website. And if you need some help in learning how to download the files to your device, you can sign up for free one-on-one sessions at the Oakland, Friendsville, and Grantsville libraries.
Dates and times at the Oakland Library include Monday, January 4, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Wednesday, January 13, 1 – 8 p.m. Sessions at the Friendsville Library are scheduled from 4 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20 and January 27. Sessions at the Grantsville Library are scheduled for Tuesday, January 19 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Monday, February 8, from 1 – 8 p.m. All sessions are limited to one hour in length. To register at Oakland, call Bonnie at 301-334-3996 x117 or email email@example.com. To register at Friendsville, call Michele at 301-746-5663 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Support for our access to Zinio (magazines) and Overdrive (eBooks and audiobooks) is provided by the Western Maryland Regional Library, the regional resource center for the public libraries of Allegany, Garrett, and Washington Counties.
