Free Gardening Classes at Grantsville
Would you like some gardening tips?
Join us for a series of free gardening classes at the Grantsville Library, presented by the Garrett County Master Gardeners from the University of Maryland Extension Office. All classes are free and open to the public. Attendance at the entire series is not required. Attendees will receive a $5 gift certificate to Chestnut Ridge Nursery, courtesy of Western Maryland Regional Library (limit of 1per attendee for the series). All classes will meet on Tuesdays from 2 - 3 p.m. on the following dates:
- February 18: Planning Your Garden
- March 11: Seed Starting Basics
- April 1: All about Tomato Gardening
- April 29: Rainbow of Color in Your Perennial Garden
- May 13: Raised Bed Gardening
- June 3: Herbs
- August 19: Composting
- September 30: Saving Seeds
