Tea Party: Lavender & Ladybugs

Spend quality one-on-one time with a favorite little one at our free tea party!

Each child and caregiver will enjoy lavender tea, scones and cookies by Anne Davidson of Deep Creek Lavender Farm. Then they’ll hear Anne read her book, "Lila the Ladybug: A Deep Creek Lake Adventure," about a lavender-colored ladybug who doesn't seem to fit in.

After the tea, children can learn facts about ladybugs during a brief, fun presentation by gardening expert Ashley Bodkins. Then each child can make a ladybug craft while their adult enjoys another cup of tea!

For children ages 5-12 and their caregiver.

The food and program are free, but reservations are required and seating is limited. Please contact or call 301.334.3996 x0117 to make a reservation.
