Exploration-Sense-A-Tion slide

October cancellation: The library's sensory programs for October are cancelled due to Autumn Glory weekend. They will resume in November.

The Ruth Enlow Library and Garrett County Family Support Services are co-hosting a children’s sensory program the second Saturday of each month from 1 – 2:00 p.m., at the Oakland Library, 6 N. Second St., Oakland.  This interactive program includes activities specifically designed for 3 – 12 year-olds who have Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, or other special needs that create sensory sensitivities. Children can participate in a craft, explore sensory activities, play games, and interact with other children. The program is free. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. For more information, contact Susanne at 301-334-3996 ext. 0105 or skight@relib.net.
