The Ruth Enlow Library and Garrett County Family Support Services are co-hosting a teen sensory and social event the second Saturday of each month from 10 – 11 a.m., at the Oakland Library, 6 N. Second St., Oakland, MD. This interactive, sensory friendly program includes activities specifically designed for teens that provide adaptive experiences based on multiple learning styles. The program provides an opportunity for teens to relax, hang out and have fun, and participate in games and a craft. Video gaming is available after the program for the teens to enjoy. The event is free and open to teens ages 13 – 21 years old. All students must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
