Karen Wood, University of Maryland Extension/4-H Youth Development, will present an engaging Fall science activity where participants will design and construct a zipline and carrier that will successfully transport a toy turkey from the Thanksgiving dinner table back to the farm. Youth will explore the engineering and design process while learning concepts such as friction, balance, and momentum.
