Welcome to February! That means it's time for our "Blind Date With a Book" event. Find details on how it works at each participating library location below!
AT THE MAIN LIBRARY:
How does it work?
- Select a book wrapped in brown paper based on its given profile and hints.
- Take your “date” home with you to get acquainted. (Please leave with only one date at a time)
- Inside each book is a “Rate Your Date” slip. Let us know if you enjoyed yourself or if the book was a dud.
- Each person who returns the slip to the Oakand Library will be entered into a drawing for an Uno’s gift card!
- This program will begin at the Oakland Library on February 2nd and will end on February 28th, 2026.
AT THE KITZMILLER LIBRARY:
- Check out a title from our Blind Date With A Book display and enjoy a fun “Pal-entine’s Day” gift of appreciation tucked inside!
