Public Relations Specialist

Public Relations Specialist – 20 hours per week at the Ruth Enlow Library in Oakland.  Starting pay is $15.00/hr. 

Duties:  Managing the Library’s social media presence, promoting programs, announcements and services to the public via traditional and new media, designing flyers and other marketing materials via computer, creating and implementing programs for the public by working with potential speakers, other duties as assigned.

The ideal applicant should be artistic, a skilled writer, computer-savvy, conscientious, a team player, and dedicated to helping the Library spread its message throughout the community.  Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
