Accident Library with flower landscape

The Accident Library opened on December 19, 1977 in its present location. Residents of the small town of Accident (population 349) use the library as a community resource. Ten public computers with Internet access and word processing software, two laptop stations, and a teen area with a Wii and a Play Station II, make the library a favorite place to visit.

The library offers books, magazines, videos, DVDs, books on tape and on CD, wireless internet, and online databases. Programming for adults, teens, and children includes the popular Summer Reading Club, Children’s Story Hour, StoryTails: Children Reading to Dogs, Teen Book Club, assorted informational and discussion events for adults, and the HomeSchool series.

Notary services are available on site!
