Gardening Classes are scheduled to begin at the Accident, Grantsville, and Oakland Libraries this spring, presented by the Garrett County Master Gardeners from University of Maryland Extension, and are free and open to the public. Participants are asked to register as follows. For Accident classes, contact the library at 301-746-8792 or connie@relib.net. A variety of gardening topics are planned for this season. Grantsville’s first class – 10 Annual Flowers for Your Garden – will be Thursday, March 30 at 11 a.m. Accident’s first class – Edible Landscaping – will be Monday, April 24 at 2 p.m. Oakland’s first class – Native Pollinators and Mason Bees – is scheduled for Thursday, May 11 at 2 p.m.
